Lauren has stepped into the role of Project Educator at MEVO, where she will work closely with the Mahwah School District while also serving as a Farm Assistant during the growing seasons. Her journey with MEVO began as a fall intern, where she discovered her passion for local farming and educating the community about sustainable, small-scale, regenerative agriculture.

Lauren attended Montclair State University with a degree in Nutrition and Food Science, specializing in Food Systems. Through her work with young learners, she hopes to inspire an understanding that caring for the land around us can yield an abundance of fresh, nutritious produce that supports healthy communities and fosters a deeper connection to the food we eat.

When she’s not at MEVO, Lauren can usually be found immersed in a good book, practicing Pilates, or exploring new destinations.
