Rebecca Fuchs has a BA degree from Rutgers University where she majored in Dance and Art. Her graduate studies include: an AAS degree in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School. A Construction Technology Certificate from NYU SCPS and a Desktop Publishing Certificate from SUNY at Rockland. Rebecca has been involved and a strong supporter of MEVO since its inception. She created the first logo for the organization and was one of the very first volunteers. She worked in the role of Executive Assistant to the Treasurer since MEVO’s founding in July 2008 through April 5, 2011, when MEVO incorporated. On July 24, 2012, she was elected to the office of Treasurer for the Board of Directors. Rebecca was responsible for all company funds, receipt, care, and disbursements of monies maintained meticulous account records, and was the bank depositor of company funds.
As of January 2021, she has stepped down as Treasure but continues to be an active board member lending her experience and knowledge of not-for-profit management and environmental causes to the organization.
