Shawn is the Summer Intern Trail Crew Leader for MEVO this season. He is currently a senior at William Paterson University studying a BS in Environmental Sciences with a minor in Philosophy and Sustainability and Climate. Shawn has always been passionate about the outdoors since he was young, but trail work is a new skill to him. Shawn enjoys learning new skills, new experiences, and enjoys the opportunities he has to work outside and with nature.
With his goofy side and warmheartedness, Shawn is excited this year to be a part of MEVO and work alongside the NYNJTC. He loves being a part of the positive environment, learning new skills, and seeing how rewarding the work is that he is doing.
When Shawn is not at MEVO, he enjoys geology, collecting rocks and coins, and spending time with his family and pets.
