Chocolate Mint

General Info: This mint has a powerful classic minty taste. A great tea to settle the stomach, add to your hot chocolate, add to a water pitcher (or you water bottle), and to enjoy in drinks (think minty lemonade). One of our favorite ways to use it is in a mint, tonic water, and lime mocktail!
Days to harvest: 80-100 days for stem tips and 120-180 bunches
Harvesting tips: Harvest right before it begins to flower
Sun, and spacing: Full sun/part sun, space 6-8”(15-20cm) in pots
Common pests and diseases : Aphids, leafhoppers, thrips, mint caterpillar, mint root borer
Other: Harvest frequently to encourage new growth. Can become very invasive if grown outside of pots as it spreads rampantly through underground runners.
