Spring Wild Food Walk

$30.00

Every plant has a purpose (even those we may think of as weeds)! In this class, we will celebrate some of the first plants to wake up in the spring.

You’ll learn to distinguish a few of these plants amongst all the spring greenery and learn how to put them to use in your kitchen. This walk will be led by Violet Reed and held at our Fresh Roots Farm on April 13th from 3-4:30pm. Plants covered in this course will include nutrition-packed wild edibles like chickweed, purple dead nettle, garlic mustard, dandelion, and more.

About the Educator: Learn more about Violet Reed here.

Please note that a minimum of 10 people is needed for this course to run. You will be refunded if this course does not run.
